Yahya bin Ishaq reported,

They said, Ibn Lahia narrated to us, Mishrah bin Haaan narrated to us, from Uqba bin Amir.Yahya bin Ishaq said, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Every deceased person has his deeds sealed off, except for the one stationed at the frontier." Yahya said, "in the cause of Allah. The reward of his deeds continues to flow for him until Allah resurrects him."

قالوا حدثنا ابن لهيعة حدثنا مشرح بن هاعان عن عقبة بن عامر قال يحيى بن إسحاق سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول كل ميت يختم على عمله إلا المرابط قال يحيى في سبيل الله فإنه يجرى عليه أجر عمله حتى يبعثه الله عز وجل
