I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The people have submitted, but Amr bin As has truly believed."
حدثنا أبو عبد الرحمن حدثنا ابن لهيعة حدثني مشرح بن هاعان قال سمعت
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول أسلم الناس وآمن عمرو بن العاصي
Its isnad is hasan. It is found in Tirmidhi, 5/687, no. 3844, in the Book of Virtues, on the virtues of Amr bin As. He said, "It is not strong."
