I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "It is not lawful for a Muslim man to propose for marriage over his brother's proposal until he withdraws, nor to make a sale over his brother's sale until he withdraws."

سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول لا يحل لامرئ مسلم يخطب على خطبة أخيه حتى يترك ولا يبيع على بيع أخيه حتى يترك
