My brother died, leaving behind three hundred Dinars and young children. I wanted to spend the money on them, but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "Your brother is being held back by his debt, so go and pay it off on his behalf."So I went and paid off his debts, then I came back and said, "Messenger of Allah, I have paid off his debts. Only one woman remains, claiming two Dinars, but she has no proof."He said, "Give it to her, for she is telling the truth."
حدثنا سليمان بن حرب حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن عبد الملك أبي جعفر عن أبي نضرة
مات أخي وترك ثلاث مائة دينار وترك ولدا صغارا فأردت أن أنفق عليهم فقال لي رسول الله ﷺ إن أخاك محبوس بدينه فاذهب فاقض عنه قال فذهبت فقضيت عنه ثم جئت فقلت يا رسول الله قد قضيت عنه ولم يبق إلا امرأة تدعي دينارين وليست لها بينة قال أعطها فإنها صادقة
