The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught him what to say in the witr prayer, and he then mentioned the same as the hadith of Yunus.
حدثنا عبد الرزاق أنبأنا سفيان عن أبي إسحاق عن بريد بن أبي مريم عن أبي الحوراء
أن رسول الله ﷺ علمه أن يقول في الوتر فذكر مثل حديث يونس
