The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever leaves behind dependents in need, they are the responsibility of Allah and His Messenger." And sometimes he said, "they are our responsibility. Whoever leaves behind wealth, it belongs to his heir. The maternal uncle is the heir of one who has no heir, and I am the heir of one who has no heir. I inherit from him and pay blood-money on his behalf."

عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه قال من ترك كلا فإلى الله ورسوله وربما قال فإلينا ومن ترك مالا فلوارثه والخال وارث من لا وارث له وأنا وارث من لا وارث له أرثه وأعقل عنه
Its isnad is sahih. Budayl is Ibn Maysara Aqeeli, a well-known trustworthy narrator. Ali bin Abu Talha Himsi is a reliable narrator whose hadith appears in Muslim. Rashid bin Saad is Muqrai Himsi, and he is trustworthy. Likewise Abu Amir Hawzani, Abdullah bin Luhay. The hadith was mentioned earlier at 13184.
