I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "When a man gives his wife water to drink, he is rewarded for it." So I went to her, gave her water to drink, and told her what I had heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
حدثنا أبو جعفر وهو محمد بن جعفر المدائني أخبرني عباد بن العوام عن سفيان بن الحسين عن خالد بن زيد
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إن الرجل إذا سقى امرأته من الماء أجر قال فأتيتها فسقيتها وحدثتها بما سمعت من رسول الله ﷺ
