Two things I memorized from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said, "Allah has prescribed excellence in all things. So when you kill, kill well, and when you slaughter, slaughter well. Let each of you sharpen his blade and spare suffering to the animal he slaughters."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر قال حدثنا شعبة عن خالد عن أبي قلابة عن أبي الأشعث
ثنتان حفظتهما من رسول الله ﷺ أنه قال إن الله كتب الإحسان على كل شيء فإذا قتلتم فأحسنوا القتلة وإذا ذبحتم فأحسنوا الذبحة وليحد أحدكم شفرته وليرح ذبيحته
