Shaddad bin Aws reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no man who retires to his bed and recites a surah from the Book of Allah 
but that Allah sends an angel to him to protect him from anything that may harm him until he wakes, whenever he wakes."

عن شداد بن أوس قال
قال رسول الله ﷺ ما من رجل يأوي إلى فراشه فيقرأ سورة من كتاب الله عز وجل إلا بعث الله عز وجل إليه ملكا يحفظه من كل شيء يؤذيه حتى يهب متى هب

Its chain of transmission is daif. This is because Hanzali is an unknown narrator, as Tirmidhi narrated it from a man from Hanzala, while Nasai narrated it without an intermediary, saying, from Saeed Jariri, from Abu Ala, from Shaddad. See both of them in 17050.
