The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The sun and the moon do not eclipse for the death of anyone." Yazid added, "Nor for the life of anyone. They are two signs among the signs of Allah the Exalted, so when you see them, perform the prayer."
حدثنا إسماعيل ويزيد بن هارون أخبرنا إسماعيل عن قيس
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن الشمس والقمر لا ينكسفان لموت أحد قال يزيد ولا لحياته ولكنهما آيتان من آيات الله تعالى فإذا رأيتموهما فصلوا
Its isnad is sahih, it has already appeared at 14698. Ismail is Ibn Abu Khalid, and Qays is Ibn Abu Hazim.
