Ayesha al-Siddiqah reported from her father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Abdul-Rahman, "Take your sister, meaning Ayesha, on your mount and let her perform Umrah from al-Tanim. When you bring her down from the hill, instruct her to enter the state of ihram, for it will be an accepted Umrah."
حدثنا داود بن مهران الدباغ حدثنا داود يعني العطار عن ابن خثيم عن يوسف بن ماهك عن حفصة ابنة
الصديق عن أبيها أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لعبد الرحمن أردف أختك يعني عائشة فأعمرها من التنعيم فإذا هبطت بها من الأكمة فمرها فلتحرم فإنها عمرة متقبلة
Its isnad is sahih. Dawud bin Mihran the tanner is trustworthy, Abu Hatim confirmed his reliability, and Ibn Hibban said, "He was meticulous."Dawud the perfumer is Dawud bin Abdul-Rahman al-Abdi al-Makki. He is trustworthy, and was one of the teachers of Ibn Mubarak and Shafii. Ibn Hibban said, "He was meticulous, one of the jurists of Makkah."Ibn Khuthaym is Abdullah bin Uthman bin Khuthaym.Yusuf bin Mahak, with a fatha on the ha, is a trustworthy successor.Hafsa bint Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Bakr is a trustworthy successor, and she was the wife of Mundhir bin Zubayr.This hadith was narrated by Hakim in Mustadrak, 3:477, by way of Azraqi, from Dawud the perfumer, and Dhahabi said, "Its chain of transmission is strong."
