He was more trustworthy to me than myself. He said, Abu Masud al-Badri said to us, "Shall I show you how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray?"He then said the takbir and bowed, placing his palms on his knees with his fingers spread along his shins, holding his arms away from his sides, until every part of him settled in place.Then he said, "Allah hears whoever praises Him," and stood up straight until every part of him settled in place.Then he said the takbir and prostrated, holding his arms away from his sides, until every part of him settled in place.Then he raised his head and sat upright until every part of him settled in place.Then he made the second prostration. He prayed four units of prayer with us in this manner, then said, "This is how the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was," or he said, "This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray."

وكان عندي أوثق من نفسي قال قال لنا أبو مسعود البدري ألا أصلي لكم صلاة رسول الله ﷺ قال فكبر فركع فوضع كفيه على ركبتيه وفصلت أصابعه على ساقيه وجافى عن إبطيه حتى استقر كل شيء منه ثم قال سمع الله لمن حمده فاستوى قائما حتى استقر كل شيء منه ثم كبر وسجد وجافى عن إبطيه حتى استقر كل شيء منه ثم رفع رأسه فاستوى جالسا حتى استقر كل شيء منه ثم سجد الثانية فصلى بنا أربع ركعات هكذا ثم قال هكذا كانت صلاة رسول الله ﷺ أو قال هكذا رأيت رسول الله ﷺ صلى
