That man reported, "I came to the Prophet ﷺ with a need, and he saw a perfume called khaluq on me. He said, 'Go and wash it off.'So I washed it off and returned to him. He said, 'Go and wash it off.'I went, fell into a well, then took a piece of palm fiber and began scrubbing it off. Then I returned to him, and he said, 'What is your need?'"

عن ذلك الرجل قال أتيت النبي ﷺ ولي حاجة فرأى علي خلوقا فقال اذهب فاغسله فغسلته ثم عدت إليه فقال اذهب فاغسله فذهبت فوقعت في بئر فأخذت مشقة فجعلت أتتبعه ثم عدت إليه فقال حاجتك
