The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah chose Kinanah from the descendants of Ismail, and from Kinanah He chose Quraysh, and from Quraysh He chose Banu Hashim, and from Banu Hashim He chose me."
حدثنا أبو المغيرة قال حدثنا الأوزاعي قال حدثني أبو عمار شداد
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن الله اصطفى كنانة من بني إسماعيل واصطفى من بني كنانة قريشا واصطفى من قريش بني هاشم واصطفاني من بني هاشم
