We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when someone said to him, "Messenger of Allah, was food ever brought to you from heaven?"He replied, "Yes."The man asked, "In what was it brought?"He said, "In a heated dish."They asked, "Was there any of it left over after you ate?"He answered, "Yes."The man asked, "What was done with it?"He said, "It was lifted up, while it was revealed to me that I am to be taken and will not remain among you for long, and you yourselves will not remain long after me, except for a little while. Rather, you will remain until you say, 'When will it come?' You will come in successive groups, destroying one another. Before the Hour there will be a severe pestilence, and after it years of earthquakes."

كنا جلوسا عند رسول الله ﷺ إذ قال له قائل يا رسول الله هل أتيت بطعام من السماء قال نعم قال وبماذا قال بمسخنة قالوا فهل كان فيها فضل عنك قال نعم قال فما فعل به قال رفع وهو يوحى إلي أني مكفوت غير لابث فيكم ولستم لابثين بعدي إلا قليلا بل تلبثون حتى تقولوا متى وستأتون أفنادا يفني بعضكم بعضا وبين يدي الساعة موتان شديد وبعده سنوات الزلازل

Its isnad is sahih, all its narrators being trustworthy Syrians. Artah bin Munzir bin Aswad Alhani Hemsi is trustworthy, praised by the leading scholars, and Damra bin Habib Zubaydi, who is Abu Utba Hemsi, is trustworthy, also praised by them.The hadith was narrated by Tabarani in Al-Kabir 7/51, number 6356, and narrated by Abu Yaala 12/270, number 6861. Haythami said, 7/306, "It was narrated by Ahmad, Tabarani, Bazzar, and Abu Yaala, and its narrators are trustworthy." It was also narrated by Ibn Hibban, 460, number 1861 in Mawarid, and Hakim graded it sahih according to the criteria of Bukhari and Muslim, 4/447, but Dhahabi said it does not meet their criteria, though it is well established.
