I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever performs ghusl and bathes thoroughly on Friday, sets out early in the morning, walks rather than rides, sits close to the imam, listens attentively, and does not engage in idle talk, will receive for every step the reward of a year of fasting and standing in prayer."
حدثنا يحيى بن آدم قال حدثنا ابن المبارك عن الأوزاعي عن حسان بن عطية عن أبي الأشعث الصنعاني
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول من غسل واغتسل يوم الجمعة وبكر وابتكر ومشى ولم يركب فدنا من الإمام واستمع ولم يلغ كان له بكل خطوة أجر سنة صيامها وقيامها
