While delivering a sermon, Muawiya said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away at the age of sixty-three, Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, passed away at the age of sixty-three, and Umar passed away at the age of sixty-three. And today I am sixty-three years old."
حدثنا روح حدثنا شعبة قال حدثنا أبو إسحاق قال سمعت عامر بن سعد يقول سمعت جرير بن عبد الله يقول سمعت
وهو يخطب توفي رسول الله ﷺ وهو ابن ثلاث وستين وتوفي أبو بكر رضي الله تعالى عنه وهو ابن ثلاث وستين وتوفي عمر وهو ابن ثلاث وستين قال معاوية وأنا اليوم ابن ثلاث وستين
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Abu Ishaq is Subayi, Amir bin Saad is the son of Abu Waqqas, and Jareer bin Abdullah is Bajali, a companion. It is found in Muslim 4/827, number 2352m, in the book of virtues, on how long the Prophet ﷺ stayed, and in Tirmidhi 5/605, number 3653, where he said, hasan sahih.
