He heard Yazid, meaning Ibn Abu Malik, and Abu al-Azhar narrating about the ablution of Muawiya. He said that Muawiya was showing them the ablution of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He performed ablution washing each part three times, and washed his feet without counting.
حدثنا علي بن بحر قال حدثنا الوليد يعني ابن مسلم قال حدثنا
أنه سمع يزيد يعني ابن أبي مالك وأبا الأزهر يحدثان عن وضوء معاوية قال يريهم وضوء رسول الله ﷺ فتوضأ ثلاثا ثلاثا وغسل رجليه بغير عدد
