He described to them the ablution of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, explaining that he wiped his head with a handful of water until water dripped from his head, or nearly dripped. Then he demonstrated to them the ablution of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When he reached the wiping of the head, he placed his palms on the front of his head, then ran them back until he reached the nape of the neck, then brought them back to the place where he had started.
حدثنا علي بن بحر حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم قال حدثنا عبد الله بن العلاء عن أبي الأزهر
أنه ذكر لهم وضوء رسول الله ﷺ وأنه مسح رأسه بغرفة من ماء حتى يقطر الماء من رأسه أو كاد يقطر وأنه أراهم وضوء رسول الله ﷺ فلما بلغ مسح رأسه وضع كفيه على مقدم رأسه ثم مر بهما حتى بلغ القفا ثم ردهما حتى بلغ المكان الذي بدأ منه
