Saeed bin Musayab reported,

Muawiya delivered a sermon on the pulpit of the Prophet ﷺ, or the pulpit of Medina, and produced a bundle of hair, saying, "I never thought anyone did this except the Jews. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ called it deception."

سعيد بن المسيب قال

خطب معاوية على منبر النبي ﷺ أو منبر المدينة فأخرج كبة من شعر قال ما كنت أرى أن أحدا يفعل هذا غير اليهود إن رسول الله ﷺ سماه الزور
