I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say from this pulpit, "O Allah, none can withhold what You grant, and none can grant what You withhold, and no fortune can benefit its possessor against Your will. Whoever Allah wishes good for, He grants him understanding of the religion."
حدثنا شجاع بن الوليد قال ذكر عثمان بن حكيم عن زياد بن أبي زياد
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول على هذه الأعواد اللهم لا مانع لما أعطيت ولا معطي لما منعت ولا ينفع ذا الجد منك الجد من يرد الله به الخير يفقه في الدين
