Its isnad is sahih. Humayd bin Hilal Adawi is trustworthy, and his hadith appears in the collections of the group, as mentioned earlier. The hadith was narrated by Bukhari 6/255, no. 3153 (Fath), in the chapter on the obligation of the khumus, on what is taken from food, by Abu Dawud 3/65, no. 2702, in the book of jihad, on the permissibility of food from enemy land, and by Darimi 2/306, no. 2500, in the book of expeditions, on eating food before it is divided.
