He had come to ransom the captives on the day of Badr. He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reciting Surah at-Tur in the Maghrib prayer."

وكان جاء في فداء الأسارى يوم بدر قال سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقرأ في المغرب بالطور
