He passed by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was sitting at the door of his mosque with his arms wrapped around his knees, wearing a striped Yemeni garment with no other clothing on him, saying, "The Muslim is the brother of the Muslim. He does not wrong him nor forsake him." Then he pointed with his hand to his chest, saying, "Piety is here, piety is here."
قال حدثنا أبو عامر قال حدثنا عباد يعني ابن راشد عن الحسن
أنه مر على رسول الله ﷺ وهو قاعد على باب مسجده محتب وعليه ثوب له قطر ليس عليه ثوب غيره وهو يقول المسلم أخو المسلم لا يظلمه ولا يخذله ثم أشار بيده إلى صدره يقول التقوى هاهنا التقوى هاهنا
