He asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, saying, "I have vowed to slaughter three of my camels."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "If the vow was made for one of the gatherings of the Jahiliyyah, or for one of the festivals of the Jahiliyyah, or for an idol, then do not fulfill it. But if it was for something other than that, then fulfill your vow."The man said, "Messenger of Allah, my mother had vowed to walk on foot to the Kaaba. Should I walk on her behalf?"He answered, "Yes."
قال حدثنا أبو بكر الحنفي قال حدثنا ابن جعفر عن عمرو بن شعيب
أنه سأل رسول الله ﷺ فقال إني نذرت أن أنحر ثلاثة من إبلي فقال إن كان على جمع من جمع الجاهلية أو على عيد من أعياد الجاهلية أو على وثن فلا وإن كان على غير ذلك فاقض نذرك قال يا رسول الله إن على أم هذه الجارية مشيا أفأمشي عنها قال نعم
