Some of them said that hijrah had come to an end, and they differed about this. He said, So I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, some people are saying that hijrah has come to an end."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Hijrah will not come to an end as long as there is jihad."

بعضهم إن الهجرة قد انقطعت فاختلفوا في ذلك قال فانطلقت إلى رسول الله ﷺ فقلت يا رسول الله إن أناسا يقولون إن الهجرة قد انقطعت فقال رسول الله ﷺ إن الهجرة لا تنقطع ما كان الجهاد
Its isnad is sahih, its narrators being jurists of Egypt. Layth is Ibn Saad the Egyptian, the imam, and Yazid bin Abu Habib is the well-known Egyptian jurist, and likewise Abul-Khayr, who is Marthad bin Abdullah al-Yazani, the trustworthy Egyptian jurist, and their hadith is all found in the sahih collections. Haythami likewise said, 5/251, that its narrators are the narrators of the sahih collections. The hadith is found in Nasai, 7/146, no. 4172, and in Abu Naeem's Dalail, p. 262. The hadith has already appeared at 15243.
