I used to sleep in the room of the Prophet ﷺ, and I would hear him when he rose at night to pray. He would say, "Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds," for a long while. Then he would say, "Glory be to Allah the Magnificent, and praise be to Him," for a long while.

كنت أنام في حجرة النبي ﷺ فكنت أسمعه إذا قام من الليل يصلي يقول الحمد لله رب العالمين الهوي قال ثم يقول سبحان الله العظيم وبحمده الهوي
Its isnad is sahih, its narrators are well-known imams. The hadith was narrated by Nasai, 3/209, no. 1618, in the chapter on night prayer, on what one opens the night prayer with. And Ibn Majah, 2/1276, no. 3879, in the chapter on supplication, on what one supplicates with when waking up at night. But it does not contain "he got up to pray," rather his saying "Glory be to Allah, Lord of the worlds."His saying, "I used to sleep in the chamber of the Prophet ﷺ," meaning by the door, as in the following narration. And his saying, "al-huwiyy," meaning the long stretch of time. That was due to the length of the standing of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in prayer.
