I used to travel with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I never once saw him pray after Asr or after Fajr.
Its isnad is sahih, from both of its paths, and the hadith was narrated by Bukhari, both as mawquf and marfu, 1/152, in the Book of Prayer Times, chapter on prayer after Fajr. And Muslim, 1/567, number 826, in the Book of Mosques, chapter on the times during which the Prophet forbade prayer. And Abu Dawud, 2/24, number 1276. And Tirmidhi, 2/278, number 419, and he said, gharib. And Nasai, 1/258, number 518. And Ibn Majah, 1/295, number 1249.
