The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in the forenoon prayer, and we gave the salam when he gave the salam. He led them in prayer at a mosque in their area.
قال حدثنا يحيى بن آدم قال حدثنا ابن مبارك عن معمر عن الزهري عن محمود بن ربيع
صلى رسول الله ﷺ ضحى وسلمنا حين سلم وأنه يعني صلى بهم في مسجد عندهم

Its isnad is sahih. Yahya bin Adam bin Sulayman Kufi, Abu Zakariya Umawi, their freedman, is trustworthy, a well-known hafiz, and Mahmud bin Rabi was one of the younger companions, his narration being mostly from the companions, as is the case here. The hadith has already been mentioned at length from Anas, and it also appeared previously at 15429, and will come again shortly. It is found in the Sahihayn as noted before.
