He entered upon the Prophet ﷺ and heard him saying, and he then mentioned a hadith similar to the report of Affan, but he did not mention the statement of Qatada.
حدثنا بهز قال حدثنا همام حدثنا قتادة
دخل على النبي ﷺ فسمعه يقول فذكر مثل حديث عفان ولم يذكر قول قتادة
