I was present with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when a man asked him about praying in a single garment, but he gave him no answer. When the prayer was called, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ alternated between his two garments and prayed in them.
قال حدثنا يونس حدثنا أبان عن يحيى بن أبي كثير عن عيسى بن خثيم
شهد رسول الله ﷺ وسأله رجل عن الصلاة في الثوب الواحد فلم يقل له شيئا فلما أقيمت الصلاة طارق رسول الله ﷺ بين ثوبيه فصلى فيهما
