The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to me while I was suffering from a pain that was nearly killing me. He said to me, "Wipe it with your right hand seven times and say, 'I seek refuge in the might of Allah and His power from the evil of what I find.'"I did that, and Allah removed what was afflicting me. I have continued to instruct my family and others to use it ever since.
حدثنا إسحاق بن عيسى قال حدثنا مالك عن يزيد بن خصيفة أن عمرو بن عبد الله بن كعب أخبره عن نافع بن جبير
أتاني رسول الله ﷺ وبي وجع قد كاد يهلكني فقال لي رسول الله ﷺ امسحه بيمينك سبع مرات وقل أعوذ بعزة الله وقدرته من شر ما أجد قال ففعلت ذلك فأذهب الله ما كان بي فلم أزل آمر به أهلي وغيرهم
