Abu Iyas reported,

Ubayy came to the Prophet ﷺ when he was a small boy, and the Prophet ﷺ wiped his head and asked forgiveness for him.Shuba said, "We asked him, 'Did he have companionship with the Prophet?'"He replied, "No, but he lived during his time and had already milked livestock and tied their udders."

جاء أبي إلى النبي ﷺ وهو غلام صغير فمسح رأسه واستغفر له قال شعبة قلنا له صحبة قال لا ولكنه كان على عهده قد حلب وصر
