Naeem was brought before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for drinking wine. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered those present in the house to strike him, and they beat him with their hands, palm branches, and sandals. He said, "I was among those who struck him."
قال حدثنا عبد الصمد قال حدثنا أبي قال حدثنا أيوب عن ابن أبي مليكة قال حدثني
أتي رسول الله ﷺ بالنعيمان قد شرب الخمر فأمر رسول الله ﷺ من في البيت فضربوه بالأيدي والجريد والنعال قال فكنت ممن ضربه
Its isnad is sahih. It is found in Bukhari 12/64, no. 6774 Fath, 4/492, no. 2316 Fath.
