The Prophet ﷺ came upon us while we were discussing the Hour and asked, "What are you discussing?"They replied, "We are talking about the Hour."He said, "It will not come until you see ten signs. The smoke, the Dajjal, the beast, the rising of the sun from the west, the descent of Isa son of Maryam, Yajuj and Majuj, three landslides, one in the east, one in the west, and one in the Arabian Peninsula, and the last of them will be a fire that emerges from Yemen and drives people to their place of gathering."Abu Abdul-Rahman said that a word was missing.
حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن فرات عن أبي الطفيل
اطلع النبي ﷺ علينا ونحن نتذاكر الساعة فقال ما تذكرون قالوا نذكر الساعة فقال إنها لن تقوم حتى ترون عشر آيات الدخان والدجال والدابة وطلوع الشمس من مغربها ونزول عيسى ابن مريم ويأجوج ومأجوج وثلاث خسوف خسف بالمشرق وخسف بالمغرب وخسف بجزيرة العرب وآخر ذلك نار تخرج من قبل تطرد الناس إلى محشرهم قال أبو عبد الرحمن سقط كلمة
Its isnad is sahih, its narrators are leading authorities, and Abu Tufayl is Amir bin Wathila bin Abdullah Laythi, who had seen the Prophet and was the last of the companions to die. He lived more than a hundred years and died in the year one hundred and ten according to the correct view.The hadith was narrated by Muslim, 4/2225, number 2901, in the Book of Turmoil, chapter on the signs that come before the Hour. Abu Dawud, 4/114, number 4311, in the Book of Great Calamities, chapter on the signs of the Hour. Tirmidhi, 4/377, number 2183, in the Book of Turmoil, chapter on what has been said about the sinking of the earth, and he said, hasan sahih. Ibn Majah, 2/1347, number 4055.
