The Prophet ﷺ reported that a man swore by Allah, beside whom there is no god, while lying, yet Allah forgave him. Shuba said, this was on account of his affirmation of Allah's oneness.
قال حدثنا محمد بن جعفر قال حدثنا شعبة عن عطاء بن السائب عن أبي البختري عن عبيدة
عن النبي ﷺ أن رجلا حلف بالله الذي لا إله إلا هو كاذبا فغفر الله له قال شعبة من قبل التوحيد
