The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I was shown Laylat al-Qadr, then I was made to forget it, but I was shown that on its morning I would be prostrating in water and mud."It rained on the night of the twenty-third, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in prayer. When he finished, the traces of water and mud were still visible on his forehead and nose.
قال حدثنا أنس بن عياض أبو ضمرة قال حدثني الضحاك بن عثمان عن أبي النضر مولى عمر بن عبيد الله عن بسر بن سعيد
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال رأيت ليلة القدر ثم أنسيتها وأراني صبيحتها أسجد في ماء وطين فمطرنا ليلة ثلاث وعشرين فصلى بنا رسول الله ﷺ فانصرف وإن أثر الماء والطين على جبهته وأنفه
