Rabia bin Abbad reported,

I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ going about among the people at Mina at their dwellings, before he migrated to Madinah, saying, "People, Allah commands you to worship Him alone and not to associate anything with Him."Behind him was a man saying, "This man is ordering you to abandon the religion of your forefathers."I asked who this man was, and I was told, "This is Abu Lahab."

رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يطوف على الناس بمنى في منازلهم قبل أن يهاجر إلى المدينة يقول يا أيها الناس إن الله عز وجل يأمركم أن تعبدوه ولا تشركوا به شيئا قال ووراءه رجل يقول هذا يأمركم أن تدعوا دين آبائكم فسألت من هذا الرجل فقيل هذا أبو لهب
