He went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on one of his military expeditions, and Khalid bin Walid was in command of the advance guard. Rabah and the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a woman who had been killed by the advance guard, and they stopped to look at her, marveling at her build, until the Messenger of Allah ﷺ caught up with them on his mount. They parted to make way for him, and he stopped over her and said, "This one was not one to fight."Then he said to one of them, "Catch up with Khalid and tell him, do not kill children or hired laborers."
