We arrived at Madinah and there was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ upon the pulpit, with Bilal standing before him girded with a sword in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and there were black banners. I asked, "What are these banners?"They said, "Amr bin As has just returned from a military expedition."
