The one who heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The best part of your religion is that which is easiest. The best part of your religion is that which is easiest."

Its chain of transmission is hasan, on account of Abu Hilal Rasibi, Humayd bin Sulaym, whom scholars have criticized, though Abu Dawud graded him thiqah. Abu Hatim said he is majhul, one of the weak narrators from Bukhari. As for Humayd bin Hilal Adawi, he is thiqah, a well-known scholar. Abu Qatada is Tamim bin Nadhir, though it is also said Ibn Zubayr, and other names have been given too, and he is thiqah, and it is said he had companionship with the Prophet. The hadith is found in Bukhari's Adab al-Mufrad, no. 341, and will come up again as we have indicated.
