Its isnad is sahih. Husayn bin Muhammad is Ibn Ayub, and he is a trustworthy authority given precedence. Khalaf bin Khalifa is Ibn Sayd al-Bakri, and they deemed him trustworthy, his hadith is found in Muslim, but he became confused toward the end of his life, and they criticized his claim of having seen Amr bin Hurayth al-Ansari. The hadith was mentioned previously at 14715.
