Maan bin Yazid or Abu Maan reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Gather in your mosques, and when a group has assembled, send for me."So we were the first to gather, and we came to him. He walked along with us until he sat down with us. One of our number spoke and said, "Praise be to Allah, beyond whose praise nothing falls short and beyond which there is no further reach," and similar expressions of this kind. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ became angry and stood up. We blamed one another, and said to ourselves, "Allah singled us out with this honor, that he came to us first, and did such and such," so we went to him and found him in the mosque of such and such a tribe. We spoke to him, and he came walking with us until he sat in the same place he had sat before, or close to it.Then he said, "Praise belongs to Allah. Whatever Allah wills, He places before it, and whatever He wills, He places after it. Indeed, some eloquence is sorcery." Then he turned to us, gave us instructions, spoke with us, and taught us.
