The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade haql. Hakam said, "Haql is sharecropping for a third or a quarter of the produce."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن الحكم عن مجاهد
نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن الحقل قال الحكم والحقل الثلث والربع
