Kaab bin Malik reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The soul of the believer, when he dies, is a bird that perches on the trees of Paradise until Allah 
returns it to his body on the day He resurrects him."

Its isnad is sahih. Saad bin Ibrahim bin Saad bin Abdul-Rahman bin Awf is trustworthy and a hafiz, as is his father, and Salih bin Kaysan al-Madani is trustworthy, firmly reliable, and a jurist. The hadith previously appeared at 15716.
