He set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ heading for Makkah. When they were in part of the valley of Rawha, the people found a wild donkey that had been wounded. They mentioned it to the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "Leave it alone until its owner comes."Then Bahzi, who was its owner, came and said, "Messenger of Allah, this donkey is yours to dispose of as you wish."So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ instructed Abu Bakr to distribute it among the travelers, and they were in the state of ihram. He said, We then continued on until, when we reached Athaya, we came upon a gazelle lying curled up in the shade with an arrow in it. The Prophet ﷺ ordered a man to stand by it until the people had passed by.
Its isnad is sahih. All of them have been mentioned before, and Isa bin Talha bin Ubaydullah al-Madani is trustworthy and virtuous, and he too has been mentioned before. As for Umayr bin Salama al-Damri, he was a companion, and this has already appeared in his hadith there under number 15389.
