The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had only one muezzin for all the prayers, on Friday and otherwise, who would call the adhan and the iqamah. He said, Bilal would call the adhan when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat on the pulpit on Friday, and he would call the iqamah when he descended. The same was the case during the times of Abu Bakr and Umar , until the time of Uthman.

لم يكن لرسول الله ﷺ إلا مؤذن واحد في الصلوات كلها في الجمعة وغيرها يؤذن ويقيم قال كان بلال يؤذن إذا جلس رسول الله ﷺ على المنبر يوم الجمعة ويقيم إذا نزل ولأبي بكر وعمر رضي الله عنهما حتى كان عثمان
Its isnad is sahih. Its narrators have been mentioned previously. Yaqub is Ibn Ibrahim bin Saad.The hadith was narrated by Bukhari 2/395, no. 913, Fath al-Bari, in the Book of Jumuah, the Single Muezzin, Nasai 3/101, no. 1394, in the Book of Jumuah, the Adhan on the Day of Jumuah, and Ibn Majah 1/359, no. 1135.
