A man came to the Prophet ﷺ seeking his ruling regarding a woman's dowry.The Prophet ﷺ asked, "How much did you give her as dowry?"He replied, "Two hundred dirhams."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Even if you were scooping it up from the valley of Bathan, you could not have given more."
