The Prophet ﷺ said, "There will be rulers after me who will pray the prayer at its proper time and others who will delay it. Pray it with them. If they pray it at its proper time and you pray it with them, the reward is yours and theirs. If they delay it past its proper time and you pray it with them, the reward is yours and the sin is upon them. Whoever separates from the congregation dies the death of pre-Islamic ignorance, and whoever breaks the covenant and dies as a covenant-breaker will come on the Day of Resurrection with no defense."I asked, "Who informed you of this report?"He replied, "Abdullah bin Amir bin Rabia informed me, narrating from his father Amir bin Rabia, who reported it from the Prophet ﷺ."
حدثنا محمد بن بكر قال أخبرنا ابن جريج قال أخبرني
أن النبي ﷺ قال سيكون أمراء بعدي يصلون الصلاة لوقتها ويؤخرونها فصلوها معهم فإن صلوها لوقتها وصليتموها معهم فلكم ولهم وإن أخروها عن وقتها وصليتموها معهم فلكم وعليهم من فارق الجماعة مات ميتة جاهلية ومن نكث العهد فمات ناكثا للعهد جاء يوم القيامة لا حجة له قلت من أخبرك هذا الخبر قال أخبرني عبد الله بن عامر بن ربيعة عن أبيه عامر بن ربيعة يخبر عن النبي ﷺ
