I set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for the pilgrimage. He stopped at a place, then came out from relieving himself. I followed him with a small water vessel, or perhaps a cup. Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wished to relieve himself, he would go far away.I sat waiting for him by the path until the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned. I said to him, "Messenger of Allah, water for ablution."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came toward me. He poured water over his hand and washed it, then he put his hand in and scooped water, pouring it over his other hand once. Then he wiped his head. Then he took a handful of water in his hand and splashed it onto the top of his foot, wiping his foot with his hand. Then he came and led us in the noon prayer.
حدثنا عفان حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد قال حدثني أبو جعفر عمير بن يزيد قال حدثني الحارث بن فضيل وعمارة بن خزيمة بن ثابت
خرجت مع رسول الله ﷺ حاجا قال فنزل منزلا وخرج من الخلاء فاتبعته بالإداوة أو القدح وكان رسول الله ﷺ إذا أراد حاجة أبعد فجلست له بالطريق حتى انصرف رسول الله ﷺ فقلت له يا رسول الله الوضوء فأقبل رسول الله ﷺ إلي فصب رسول الله ﷺ على يده فغسلها ثم أدخل يده فكفها فصب على يده واحدة ثم مسح على رأسه ثم قبض الماء قبضا بيده فضرب به على ظهر قدمه فمسح بيده على قدمه ثم جاء فصلى لنا الظهر
